The Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs (International Federation of Translators) declared September 30th as International Translation Day. This date was chosen because of its significance as St. Jerome's feast day. Today this day signifies the achievements, successes of the translation industry and celebrates everyone's contributino to this industry.
